Discover Guara and the Somontano
The Sierra de Guara and the Somontano form one of the most surprising territories of the Aragonese Pre-Pyrenees. A place where deep canyons carved out by water coexist with vineyards, stone villages, Mediterranean forests and some of the cleanest skies in Aragon. Here, nature, history and rural life still retain a rhythm of their own, far from the rush and crowded destinations.
Spread among mountains, ravines and farmland, some of the most beautiful and authentic villages in Alto Aragón appear. Alquézar, with its impressive collegiate church and the footbridges of the Vero River; Radiquero, small and quiet, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves; Rodellar, an international reference for climbers and canyoners; or Lecina, known for its monumental thousand-year-old holm oak. Each town retains its own personality and is an excellent gateway to discover Guara.

Unforgettable viewpoints and landscapes
Guara is a territory to behold. The Mallos de Vadiello, the Salto de Roldán, the Vero and Mascún canyons or the numerous viewpoints scattered throughout the mountain range offer spectacular panoramic views throughout the year. At sunrise and sunset, the combination of rock, forest and sky creates some of the most photogenic landscapes in the Pre-Pyrenees.
Starry skies
When night falls, Guara shows another of his great riches. The low light pollution allows you to see a surprisingly clear sky, ideal for celestial observation, night photography or simply to enjoy the silence under the starry sky. Clear nights offer an experience that's hard to find in many other places.
Guara in every season
Each time of the year reveals a different mountain range. Spring fills ravines and forests with life. Summer invites you to discover rivers, pools and canyons. Autumn transforms landscapes with golden and reddish shades ideal for hiking and photography. Winter offers tranquility, crystal clear skies and a serene beauty that allows you to enjoy the territory with a different perspective.
